Industrial equipment. Open access.

Laser cutters, CNC machines, a full woodshop, welding stations, sewing and embroidery, pottery wheels and kiln, screen printing — gear most people never get near without a facility behind them.

Our printing area features a 6 color shirt press, with flash unit and conveyor drier. There is also a 16x20 t-shirt heat press, sublimation printer, vinyl cutter, and a hat press.

In our woodshop area you'll find most of the equipment you would have found in a high school woodshop (before schools started eliminating them). We have a tablesaw, a couple bandsaws, and scrollsaws. Drum sander, beltsander, spindle sander, jointer, drill press and planer. We have three lathes for wood turning.

We have two xTool lasers, a 20 watt diode, and a 40 watt CO2. There is also a Longmill MK2 cnc that accepts material up to about 30x30 inches.

In our pottery area you'll find we have three pottery wheels and a kiln.

We have two Bamboo 3D printers.

Our welding area has a welder capable of doing MIG, TIG and stick welding. We also have a plasma cutter.

The sewing area has several sewing machines, as well as a 15 needle embroidery machine.

Real people, real projects

Most members learned by being here.

Walk in not knowing a thing about a lathe or a kiln. Someone here has done it a hundred times and is glad to show you. That's how most of our members got started.

Remember back in the 80s, 70s and before when everyone in high school took shop classes and home ec? It's not so much like that any more, so where can someone get some of those basic skills that used to be taken for granted. At the Skill Center you can try some of those things without making a huge investment in your own equipment. In addition you'll be able to work with someone that has done it before, and is willing to show you how you can do it easier, better, and safer.

Cut back on your screen time, come in and make something. Get your hands dirty, and create something.

Membership opens every door in the building.

One membership tier. Full access to every work area, every open shop session, and every person in the room who knows something you don't yet.
