Premium Italian Leather Long Wallet Workshop
Create your own handcrafted long wallet from premium Italian leather while learning traditional leatherworking techniques in this hands-on workshop.
For this class, we will be using genuine Walpier Conceria Buttero, a premium full-grain vegetable-tanned leather produced in Italy. Buttero is known for its smooth finish, rich color, firm structure, and the beautiful patina it develops with age and use.
Each participant will create a full-size long wallet featuring multiple card pockets, full-length storage compartments, and a secure closure.
All wallet pieces and stitching holes will be precision laser cut before class so that we can spend our time focusing on the hands-on skills involved in assembling and finishing the wallet.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
- Traditional two-needle saddle stitching
- Proper stitch tension and consistency
- Leather assembly and gluing
- Edge beveling
- Sanding and preparing leather edges
- Applying Tokonole
- Hand burnishing
- Hardware installation
- Final wallet assembly and finishing
No previous leatherworking experience is required.

Only 6 seats are available for each workshop.
All premium leather, Ritza Tiger thread, hardware, adhesive, edge-finishing supplies, and use of leatherworking tools are included.
At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a completed premium Italian leather long wallet that you assembled, saddle stitched, and finished by hand.
IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registration closes 10 days before each workshop because the premium Italian leather must be ordered in each participant's selected color.
Because of the material ordering deadline and the limited number of seats, early registration is recommended.
